Main and Pin Cathodes

Retrofit your anodically protected H2SO4 Coolers with long-lasting Mercad Equipment Inc. Super Cathodes. These cathodes are designed to be installed in your coolers without any modification of the seal assemblies and will provide the following improvements over OEM:

• Substantially larger cathode surface contacts the acid and provides better and more consistent current distribution over the entire anodically protected acid-wetted surfaces.

• Reduced electrical resistance and consequently lower voltage drop is obtained due to the larger diameter rod. This improves voltage distribution and millivolt readings around the vessel.

The bare surface of the Mercad Equipment Inc. Super cathode is easily inspected for corrosion and can be cleaned with a swipe of a wet cloth.
